A Chat with Author Barbra Annino

Droughtlander is here, this episode starts a collection of podcast episodes to help us get through the Outlander dry spell. Barbra Annino is the author of the Stacy Justice series, the Secret Goddesses and the Ever After Trilogy. Her books are a wide range of fantasy, magic, comedy, and mystery. Her Stacy Justice series has its roots in Ireland and the Celts. Outlander fans who want a light hearted, fun, magical mystery, but also Celtic series will not be disappointed.

The Search 114

I go with you on this musical journey, talk about the music, the history, the instruments, the gypsies, throw in some versions of these folk songs, and conclude with the bawdy song The Sassenach.

Lallybroch 112 & The Watch 113

A combination of episode 112 and 113. Both of these Outlander TV show episodes take place at Lallybroch, the home of Jamie and the Fraser clan. The focus on the podcast this time around is fertility and childbirth. I include a discussion of the music of each episode. I finish everything up by singing a scottish song "Coming Thro The Rye" which has been included in various Outlander episodes this season.
